Mc Donald Creek is a beautiful asset to the community members of Prospect Heights and its neighboring cities. The creek is in bad shape and on a quick decline if something is not done soon. A significantly increased flow rate and channel erosion are leading to the loss of land and natural habitat in our community. These problems and others are causing destruction of natural vegetation buffers, sedimentation, and loss of aquatic habitat. McDonald Creek is home to many species of fish, animals, birds, and native plant species...for now.

Through support, active community members, and action, we can bring McDonald Creek back to its splendor.
